• Engaged with Ford Motor Company to provide Industrial Engineering Support during FMCSA launch at their South Africa, Silverton Assembly Plant and Struandale.
• Provided a team of experienced Industrial Engineers fluent in Ford’s toolsets such as GSPAS, MODAPTS , and APT
• Conducted MODAPTS Time Studies on approximately 312 operations and updated work studies, as necessary, to reflect actual work standards.
• Analyzed the data collected and developed rebalance opportunities with support from a line speed reduction from 29 JPH to 22 JPH to achieve a savings of 10 – 15% efficiency improvement (approximately 47 operators).
TPT achieved the target of a 47 head reduction on time and on budget. TPT has since been engaged with Ford South Africa several times always meeting budget and deliverable.
